Salesforce economy will generate 9.3 million new jobs by 2026

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

A new study from IDC that finds Salesforce and its ecosystem of partners will create 9.3 million new jobs and $1.6 trillion in new business revenues worldwide by 2026. The study also finds that Salesforce is driving immense growth for its partner ecosystem, which will make $6.19 for every $1 Salesforce makes by 2026.

There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Salesforce is the world’s leading customer relationship management (CRM) solution. According to Forbes, Salesforce now has more than 19 percent share of the CRM market. The online business publication also revealed that Salesforce grew faster than other CRM solutions in 2022, increasing its revenue by over 23%.

The Salesforce Job Market is Growing!!

With this increased demand for Salesforce worldwide, the demand for Salesforce developers across the globe is also increasing. According to a recent study by the International Data Corporation (IDC), there has been a huge increase in jobs that require Salesforce skills, and the Salesforce ecosystem is predicted to have 9.3 million new jobs and over $850 billion in revenues worldwide by 2026. Following is an infographic illustrating this:

Most companies start Salesforce implementation by properly training the workforce and then rolling out the system. Companies take people away from their regular responsibilities and instead turn their focus towards the implementation of Salesforce. As a result, more and more companies today are working with Salesforce consultants and developers to ensure successful Salesforce implementation. Now coming down to how the Salesforce economy is impacting new job trends in the market.

1. New Jobs

The number of jobs in the Salesforce ecosystem by 2026 will increase almost twice. Salesforce is the market leader in customer relationship management (CRM) applications, with a 23.8 percent market share in 2021

2. Salesforce offers a wide range of career opportunities

Another intriguing feature of Salesforce is the breadth of employment opportunities. Salesforce is incredibly valuable and in demand across various sectors, so you’re not restricted to a single industry, department, or function. This means that if you get bored working in manufacturing, you can go to a company that specializes in software, finance, or even non-profits, where Salesforce is the market leader.

3. Net-zero

Salesforce has made a public commitment to sustainable development, including the United Nations Organization. Last year, Salesforce set up a goal of consuming 100% renewable energy by 2022 with net-zero carbon emissions. 39% of respondents in IDC research approved that it also helps to support the ecosystem’s members' sustainability goals.

Final Thoughts

To summarize, choosing a Salesforce career is still a top choice from 2022 onwards. Professionals in this industry are in higher demand than ever before. As a result, it will give you a lot of better options for moving up in your job. If you want to explore a great career opportunity in the Salesforce ecosystem share your resume at hr@kvpcorp.com
